What a cookie is
A small file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work at all. Others watch how the site is used, or follow you to other sites to show you advertising.
What this site sets today
Two cookies, and both are essential. This site runs no analytics and no advertising pixels at the moment, so there is nothing here that watches you or follows you to other sites. When that changes, this page changes first.
surecookie_user_consent
Set by us. Remembers which cookies you allowed, so the banner does not ask again on every page. Lasts one year.
surecookie_session_id
Set by us. Ties your choice to your visit, so the record of what you agreed to is complete. Lasts one year.
Our forms
The booking and contact forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form is being filled in by a person rather than a machine. It sets no cookies. It runs whatever you choose on the banner, because without it the forms would be buried in automated submissions. It is the only outside service any page here contacts.
What we expect to add
In time we expect to measure how the site is used, and whether the advertising that brings families to us is working. That would mean tools such as Google Analytics and Usermaven, and pixels from Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Pinterest and X. None of them are installed today. Each one will be listed above, with its own cookies, before it is switched on, and each will sit behind the banner rather than in front of it.
Your choices
The first time you visit, a banner asks what you allow. Nothing non-essential runs until you choose, rather than being set and asked about afterwards. Essential cookies are set either way. You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of any page, and refusing everything non-essential costs you nothing here.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing that may stop parts of the site working.
Children
This site is written for parents and guardians, not for children. No child books a class or holds an account here, and any advertising we run is aimed squarely at guardians.
No child’s information is ever passed to an advertising platform or used to build a profile. The cookies described above belong to the guardian browsing this site, not to the student who will sit in the class.
Changes
If we change what this site sets, we will update this page and the date at the top.
